Five things to prepare before a website project

A little preparation saves weeks later. These are the five things that make the biggest difference to how smoothly a project runs.

You do not need everything ready before we start. But these five things make a project faster, cheaper and better.

1. One clear goal

More sign-ups, more enquiries, a better first impression for investors. Pick the one that matters most. It guides every decision after it.

2. Three sites you like

And one sentence about why. It is the quickest way to share taste.

3. Your real content

Even rough notes are better than placeholder text. Design works best when it is shaped around real words.

4. One decision maker

Feedback from many people is useful. Final decisions from one person keep the project moving.

5. A realistic date

Tell us when you need to launch and why. We will plan backwards from there.
